Partners in Caring is a collaboration between Fearrington Cares and Galloway Ridge at Fearrington, a Life Care Retirement Community.
Fearrington Cares has a twenty-year history of providing services for the health and well being of the Fearrington Village community free of charge. But sometimes people need services that extend beyond the scope of what Fearrington Cares can offer and need more help with day-to-day living or extended health care. That’s where Galloway Ridge comes in.
Galloway Ridge offers customized concierge, homemaking, and personal care assistance to Fearrington Village residents in the comfort of their own homes by highly trained and compassionate staff.
We, here in Fearrington Village are extremely lucky to have Galloway Ridge as our neighbors. They are part of our community, many Village residents have moved there and continue to participate in Fearrington Village activities, and we share the Duke Center for Living. They are tops in their field in providing nursing and home care services.
In forming this collaboration with Galloway Ridge we also want to be clear that while we will work together with them as a preferred provider, they are not the only provider we will recommend. It all depends on what residents need.

Galloway Ridge employs only the most qualified and caring nurses and home care aides because we know you need to be able to trust them. Our employee selection process is comprehensive and we can assure you that our employees:
- Are thoroughly interviewed
- Must pass a recent criminal background check and drug testing
- Have personal references verified
- Undergo competency testing and a thorough orientation process
- Receive regular performance evaluations and continued training
- Are covered by Galloway Ridge’s liability insurance
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Are caring, punctual, reliable and experienced
